Whitley Bay Comrades Club is situated on the sea front facing The Links and St Mary’s Lighthouse. The Club came into existence in 1920 and has Members from the local communities and also from as far away as Slovakia, Norway and Dubai. The Club has four rooms, of which two are lounges and two are snooker rooms.
Downstairs
The Wanless Lounge contains our main bar and doubles up as a Function Room, with a capacity of 64 guests.
The Percy Lounge contains a small bar and TV and has Disabled/Ladies toilet facilities. The room also has seating for 25 guests.
Upstairs
The East and West snooker rooms contain full-size championship snooker tables with first-class, well-equipped facilities.
